Friday- Gates Open

Saturday-Open Practice 12-4p $20

 -Chili Cook Off 6p. Cash Prizes for 1^st($250),2^nd($150),3^rd($100) places. Hot Dogs, Potatoes, and fixins to be provided. If you don’t want to enter Chili in the cook off feel free to bring a dish to pass of your choice, Chili or otherwise.

Sunday- Wnyma Race Day. Riders Meeting @ 8:30a, Practice @ 9:00a, Racing     

               to start following practice.

             -Intermission Extravaganza on the small track for the Cause!

3 Lap Event- $5 Entry (all proceeds go to the Cause)

1)    65cc’s: Each rider that enters receives a ticket with the chance to win an RC car valued at $220. The better you do in the race gets you more tickets to enter into the drawing for a better chance to win. 1^st place winner is guaranteed to win an Air MX sweatshirt, 2^nd place an Air MX t-shirt, and 3^rd place a set of grips.

2)    Red Bull Open 2 stroke Shoot Out:  1^st place winner receives 3 cases of Red Bull and a $50 gift certificate to Support Plus. 2^nd place winner gets 2 cases of Red bull and a $25 gift certificate to Support Plus. 3^rd place winner receives a case of Red Bull and an Air MX sweatshirt.

Air MX continues to make improvements for the good of the riders! We have installed start gates on the small track. Now there will not be any small bikes on the start line with the big bikes, and improve our efficiency. We now hope that our races can be done by 5p. Hope you like the change, they are positioned just inside the whoops after the finish line.

No rain here! Big Al hopes it rains a bit so he doesn’t have to water tomorrow . Come on out and try your luck in walking away with a new Klx 110! If it does rain we go 2 dozers ready to push the mud off.Come on out and do it Air Mx style!

How about another bike giveaway for the riders?? That’s right…..come out and ride at AIR MX for the weekend and you could be the lucky winner of a KLX 110 during intermission on Sunday for the 2^nd bike giveaway of the season at AIR MX. Simply sign up for racing on Sunday and your name will be entered into the drawing for each class you sign up for. Want to double your chances? Sign up for open practice Saturday from 12-4 and you get another entry! You will still be given entry tickets for the KX80 giveaway at the last race of the season as well. Want to make a whole weekend of it?? Why not! Saturday evening Dan Ripley will be playing and fresh popcorn will be FREE to all in attendance. Big Al has an inflatable slide and bounce house coming so the fun will be family wide. Slide races may be in order here folks so I’m sure you will not want to miss the excitement.

Just a way we have come up with to give back to the riders for this extra race that was not originally in our race schedule for this season. We hope everybody will come out and enjoy themselves with their fellow members of our MX family.

Here ya go! Practice Saturday 12-4p $20 as usual. Practice on the small track for the “night under the lights” event starts at 5p, again free to sign up to ride in this event. Racing to begin at 6-6:30p. Sunday has a normal race day schedule however some of our younger riders have expressed interest in riding the “big track” so we are going to give them the opportunity. The plan is to have all riders on the big track on Sunday. The younger fifty riders are in question so we are gonna leave it up to them to decide!

This weekend will be another great weekend at AirMX. Saturday there will be practice from 12-4 for $20. After practice, around dinner time there will be the well known family picnic. Bring your best homemade specialty and share it with the rest of the motocross community. Hot Dogs, Hamburger will be supplied. Come enjoy the great family and friendly atmosphere at AirMX, and stick around for Sunday with some of the most exciting and enjoyable racing in Western New York! Hope to see everyone this weekend!

Brandon Blaszczak did end up breaking 2 vertebrae in his neck but as of now it looks like he won’t need surgery. He has a few more days in the hospital and we want to wish him the best for  having a speedy recovery.

Alex Sigismondi is pretty banged up but got pretty lucky with only a broken collarbone and a broken thumb. He might also need surgery on his collarbone and will find out next Tuesday.

We hope that this information helps for all those that were asking about those 2 this weekend. On a more positive note, AirMX will be holding a practice for those that cannot make the long haul to the WNYMA race. The practice will be once again on Sunday and will run from 11-4. The price will be $20 and there is no gate fee for anyone. Once again, we recommend to either bring some food with you or stop in town. We will have some menus as well as a few places deliver but unfortunately we will not have any concession stands.  Hope to see all next weekend.

Practice will be weather permitting so check back before the weekend.

We encourage anybody who can, to go to Thornwood for the WNYMA race event this coming weekend. The Great people of Thornwood will treat you well and put on a good race event.However we do understand that for whatever the reason may be some folks can not make the haul to Thornwood, so if that’s the case we will hold open practice on Sunday June 10th from 12-5 for $20. Please be aware that there will not be any food vending so please come prepared. There are several places in town that will deliver to the track though and we do have some menus available for them. It’s supposed to be a nice weekend so get out and ride!

This is just a reminder for all about this race. Be sure to attend as it is going to be huge. We hope to break more and more records as the word spreads of what we do for our riders! 2010 & 2011 Track of the Year AirMX is proud to be hosting the 3rd annual Northeast Spring Championship May 25-27.

For anyone who has been here before you know what great things to expect. For those first timers, this is a great time to check out a track that has national potential. Hope to see all there this weekend!

Saturday night there will be a big dinner. A dish to pass is encouraged to help with the variety of food, but there will be a ton of food cooked by AirMX. Be sure not to miss out as this weekend is looking to be some great weather
